How an Evidence-Based Education Program for Women Students Improves Safety Without Restricting Freedom

• Position the EAAA/ Flip the Script^TM program within a comprehensive sexual violence prevention plan that includes bystander education and appropriate supports for survivors;
• Describe the EAAA program’s content and match elements of the content with key obstacles experienced by women in facing known perpetrators of sexual violence;
• Challenge conceptualizations of resistance education as woman-blaming using appropriate evidence from rigorous research;
• Present the research evidence supporting the long-term effects of the EAAA program and areas for further development.
