LeeAnn Larocque is currently the Director of Children’s Health at IWK Health, where she has been employed since 1996. Throughout the last 25 years, LeeAnn has held various leadership positions which has provided an extensive knowledge base in health care. Including VP of Quality and Patient Safety interim position for over a year. In the last year, LeeAnn has become an Accreditation Surveyor for Accreditation Canada, visiting healthcare organizations across Canada. LeeAnn has over 24 years of clinical, operations and administrative experience in both acute care pediatrics and mental health and addictions portfolios. She has also led various redevelopment projects within the facility, with the IWK Emergency Department being the most recent project design. LeeAnn holds a master’s in health administration from Dalhousie University and a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton. LeeAnn is a certified active member of the Canadian College of Health Leaders, currently sitting on the Bluenose Chapter Executive. In 2019, LeeAnn received her national certification in Pediatrics as well as the Board Award for Leadership from IWK Health.
