Dr. Rahma Warsame is a hematologist who specializes in treatment of blood cancers specifically Multiple myeloma and Amyloidosis. She is the Diversity leader for the Division of Hematology, and the American Society of Hematology Ambassador for Mayo Clinic in promoting minority hematologists. Her research focuses on patient reported outcomes such as quality of life, how to ensure the patient’s voice is systematically included in their care, as well as financial toxicities in cancer. In addition Dr. Warsame studies and publishes on issues with respect to equity, diversity, and inclusion in healthcare. Dr. Rahma Warsame graduated with her medical degree from the Netherlands-Antilles. She completed her residency and hematology/oncology fellowship and advanced Dysproteinemia fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester.
