Chantelle Spicer (she/they) carries a Master’s degree from Simon Fraser University and is the Co-Chair of Students for Consent Culture Canada. Chantelle has been involved in anti-violence work over the last 10 years through work with West Coast LEAF, the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre, the Nanaimo Women’s Centre, the Teaching Support Staff Union, and many instutional and provicinal tables dealing with gender-based and sexual violence work. They have a speciality in accountability, student-empowered consultation processes, and policy work as standards of care. Chantelle currently lives and works as the Director of Engagement from the Public Interest Research Group at Simon Fraser University on unceded Coast Salish territories.
