Brian MacAulay is a clinical social worker who has been working in the field since 2002. He has experience working with victims and perpetrators of intimate partner violence, sexual assault and violent crime. Brian has worked as a child abuse investigator, a medical social worker, a specialist therapist for opiate abuse clients, a liaison for the courts (mental health and addiction), the clinical supervisor for Corrections in Nova Scotia and the manager of Counselling for Saint Mary’s University in addition to running a private practice in the community. Brian has a special interest in complex trauma and working with difficult to treat clients.
