Asha Rampersad has represented major crown corporations, municipalities and large private sector clients on a broad range of labour and employment matters, including human rights litigation; grievance arbitrations; AODA and human rights compliance; employment litigation and occupational health and safety issues. Asha is also a seasoned litigator who has successfully litigated cases before the Human Rights Tribunal, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, and private boards of arbitration.
Asha is a highly sought after speaker who has been selected to speak at a number of employment and labour conferences across Canada and has significant expertise in the practice areas of disability management, human rights and accommodation issues and advising employers on all facets of labour and employment law. She has also been part of the faculty for the Osgoode PD Mental Health and Labour Certificate Programs.
