2020 HR Lens: Managing the Psychological Wellness of Nurses

It is no surprise that the risk of psychological distress is exceptionally high among nurses. Long hours, shift work, lack of autonomy, exposure to trauma, workplace violence, and the pressure to present as calm, all take a toll. Nurses are typically the first and last point of contact of care for patients, providing physical and emotional support at the time of greatest need. They are the backbone of our healthcare system. It is crucial that their mental health needs are recognized and addressed.

The Managing the Psychological Wellness of Nurses Conference will provide you with leading strategies to manage the spectrum of good psychological health and safe workplaces in a healthcare setting. You will connect with thought leaders and peers on some of the more complex challenges in helping nurses cope and thrive. Be part of the conversation in advancing opportunities to promote workplace psychological health and well-being.
