Elizabeth McCarthy is the Director of Communications at the Weeneebayko Area Health Authority. Winner of an IABC Golden Quill Merit Award, she has held senior communications positions with Cancer Care Ontario and North York General Hospital over the last fifteen years. Elizabeth is passionate about health-care communications and supporting the improvement of care services through patient stories. Elizabeth is a graduate of Mount Allison University and Humber College’s post-graduate public relations program.
