Dan Langham is a health and safety professional with 22 years of experience in the environmental, health, safety, risk and emergency management fields. He is currently the Director of Environmental Health & Safety at Queen’s University in Kingston Ontario.
After receiving a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and a Master of Science degree from the University of Guelph, Dan worked in the oil and gas sector both in Canada and the Middle East. After joining Queen’s University, he served as the Chair of the Council of Environmental Health & Safety Officers for Ontario Universities and was Vice-Chair of the Canadian Association of University Business Officer’s Risk Management Committee.
Dan is a member of the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists and the Ontario Association of Emergency Managers. He is the Chair of the Queen’s University Cannabis Working Group and a member of the Council of Ontario Universities Cannabis Working Group.
In his spare time, Dan enjoys kayaking, fishing, and bee keeping and he is the chair of the Seeley’s Bay Area Residents Association.
