Dr. Alycia Fridkin
Equity and Anti-Racism Policy Consultant
Dr. Alycia Fridkin is White Settler with Eastern European roots living in Vancouver on the unceded homelands of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. She is an equity and anti-racism policy consultant who has spent over a decade working in the area Indigenous health with a focus on addressing systemic racism in institutional settings. She has a PhD from the University of British Columbia, focused on meaningfully involving Indigenous people in health policy, and a Masters in Public Health from the University of Toronto. Alycia currently works at the City of Vancouver on addressing the overdose crisis in partnership with communities, organizations, and people with lived experience.
