Since 2015, Carmelle d’Entremont serves as the Vice President of People and Organizational Development with Nova Scotia Health Authority. She oversees the organization’s interprofessional practice and learning, and people development portfolio. This includes occupational health and safety, recruitment, talent and organizational development, workforce planning and labour relations.

Prior to this role, Carmelle had over 25 years’ experience in the Nova Scotia public sector with progressive leadership roles in the fields of adult learning, immigration, employment development and health workforce planning. She served as the provincial co-lead for the Transition and Design Team that merged the nine health authorities to create one organization in 2015. Carmelle holds a bachelor degree from the University of King’s College and a master of arts from Dalhousie University.
